BSides London Canada is an inclusive community-based information security conference for participants interested in information security.
Founded in 2025, BSides London Canada is a space to share ideas and have respectful debates. All are welcome.
And, in case it wasn’t obvious,
We are London in Canada. Not that ‘other’ London.
We are The Forest City. Not The Big Smoke.
We have the London Knights. Not the Premier League.
It’s 519/226/548. Not 020.
It’s .ca. Not .uk or. london.
It’s CAD. Not GBP.
It’s EST/EDT. Not GMT/BST.
It’s four seasons and terrible snow days. Not drizzles on repeat or damp radiators.
We are an authorized chapter of the Global BSides information security community, with 12 chapters in Canada and over 1,200 chapters worldwide.
It Takes a Village
This year’s theme is, It Takes a Village. Information security starts with you, and everyone has a role in protecting information. And, we all need to start from somewhere (or have started from somewhere). We all have a responsibility to give back. Collaboration in our local community, in our workplaces, in our industry, is a positive force for information security.
You have interesting information security topic but not quite sure where it might belong? You got this - put it in anyway. Our reviews consider submissions on merit and diversity across the spectrum of information security topics, not who you are.
Each talk (includes Q&A) has either 25 minutes or 55 minutes.
Submissions must meet the following requirements to help avoid disqualification.
Submissions must not include Personally Identifiable Information (PII), For example, your name and where you work, is PII.
Submissions must be about work you performed. For example, PR agencies or marketing teams cannot submit anything on behalf of a speaker or author.
Submissions must abide by our Code of Conduct.
Submissions must not be sales pitches for products or services or marketing campaigns.
Submissions must be for talks that have at most 2 presenters.
No more than 2 different submissions.
Sponsorship
We need Local Community Support!
Your sponsorship of BSides London Canada supports ongoing education, awareness, and development of the information security community in the London and surrounding area. Participants and volunteers recognize that hosting such a conference requires your valuable support.
BSides London Canada is an "Industry Canada" designated Not-For-Profit created to share information security learnings and facilitate security awareness & community building through an annual conference. BSides security conferences stand out because they are organized and run locally by dedicated volunteers.

Important:
This year, we do not have space for booths.
We align with the following from Global BSides:
To respect participants' privacy, we do not provide participants' information, such as attendee lists.
Sponsors are necessary to keep the attendance cost affordable. BSides is not a 'spam' lead generation event. Sponsorship is a commitment to our community and allows the Sponsor to share knowledge and network during the event.
We do not sell speaking slots. Sponsors, like everyone else, can submit proposals to the Call For Presenters (CFP).
Words matter: Participants, not attendees. Sponsors, not vendors.
